What We Do

We take your old photos, video tapes, cassettes, film negatives, slides, film reels, CDs, audio tapes, and more, and turn them into long-lasting digital files that will last for decades. 

Our Process

We use the latest hardware to transfer your cherished memories to a format that will let them live forever. 


We also digitally clean and enhance your photos — removing dust and scratches automatically — so they look better than ever.



What You Get

You'll receive the highest quality digital copies of your photos and videos, stored on archival-grade USB drives, DVD discs, or SD cards (your choice). Don't know what to pick? Don't worry, we'll advise you! 


You'll also get your original photos and videos back, of course!

Additional Services

We can also perform full photo restorations of torn, faded, or otherwise damaged photos. Our process for these differs on a case-by-case basis, so get in touch and learn how we can help!

Memories Kept can take your paper photos, video tapes/reels, photo negatives, audio cassettes, CDs/DVDs, documents, and other items and convert them into a digital format that can be shared online, archived for future generations, and cherished forever. 

All of our methods are non-destructive, meaning that you'll receive your original back in the same condition that you gave it to us. 


You'll still have your original photos and video media, but with new, high-quality digital copies that will never fade! 

We can work with virtually any photo, negative, slide, audio, or video format you may have. A short list includes:

  • Photos: Any photo up to 8.5"x11", photo negatives, 35mm slides
  • Video media formats: VHS/VHS-C, Hi8/8mm/Digital8, MiniDV, Betamax, CD, DVD
  • Film reels: 8mm, Super8
  • Audio: Cassette, CD
  • "Mystery" formats: Even if you don't know what it is, chances are we can work with it!

Prices vary depending on the size of the project, but our rates are highly competitive, even when compared to big box stores that offer inferior services. Our basic pricing list includes the following:


  • Photos: $0.84 / photo (photo negatives are the same)
  • Slides: $0.84 / slide
  • Video: $19.99 / per tape or disc (VHS, 8mm, Betamax, CD, DVD, etc)
  • Audio: $24.99 / cassette
  • Reels: $0.50 / foot of video


Certain non-standard formats incur an additional charge. All prices will be confirmed ahead of time. 


Photo/video/audio repair or editing is an additional charge. A $39.99 service deposit applies to all orders. This deposit covers the handling, organizing, and prep. The remainder of the balance is due upon delivery of the order.

We're happy to provide free pickup of your physical media within Fond Du Lac. 


We can also meet you at a specific location or have you stop by our place to drop it off. The same goes for delivery of the digital media when your items are ready. 


For customers outside of Fond Du Lac, we can arrange to meet you anywhere in Fond Du Lac or you can stop by our location on the south side of the city. 

We can restore a wide range of photos and provide updated, high-resolution digital versions. Torn, scratched, faded, water-damaged, and otherwise damaged photos are our specialty. 

In the extremely rare case that a photo or video is too damaged to create a digital copy, we'll let you know. You'll never be charged for work that we can't do! 

We offer free estimates and consultations by phone or email.
